1) Download archive "FW SmartWatch U8 Carneo.rar" from h t t p s : / /drive.google.com/open?id=0B63VmvaUeA2Xc2xfSThvUXdxams
2) Unpack with WinRAR

Example: C:\FW SmartWatch U8 Carneo\

3) Open directory "FW SmartWatch U8 Carneo" next "SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1428.00"

Example: C:\FW SmartWatch U8 Carneo\SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1428.00\

4) Run the file "Flash_tool.exe"

Example: C:\FW SmartWatch U8 Carneo\SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1428.00\Flash_tool.exe

5) Click the "Scatter/Config File" button in "Flash_Tool"

6) Select the cat.cfg file in the directory "..\FW SmartWatch U8 Carneo"

Example: C:\FW SmartWatch U8 Carneo\cat.cfg

7) And now everything is ready for flash.

ah right thank you, when I put everyting out of that rar file into 1 single folder then it worked. now all I have to do is download it to watch , but it needs a good charging up first before I attempt it. Thanks.

OK, I flashed my U8-1115 watch with your ROM (lovely new jingle at startup) - all went well and straight forward downloading rom to watch with no errorors reported. But watch starts up as normal .... but no touch functions recognised at all - any Ideas please?

We can try some other firmware, you can find them on this forum. The watches may vary by manufacturer.
Another option is to borrow the same watches, and download the firmware directly from them.

Got my Watch from Gearbest ( U8S Smartwatch)
I thought it's gonna be the newer version, but mine is just a clone and missing every sensor + not having a vibration motor.
I paid 10$ for it...
ah this is the 3mb version, so...

I got suckered in like you guys and purchased this watch.
I upgraded it with the CLONE Firmware and got a watch that would start up and then had no touch screen functions.
My watch then went to sleep and will not turn on anymore.

I guess now I'm going to have to wait until the battery dies so that I can attach it to the USB again, have it wake up in USB Mode and Flash back the
MAUI.11B.W13.08.MP.V15 Firmware onto it...

I'll let you know whenever that happens. Battery is going to take a few days to die. It was fully charged for almost a whole day.

Hi. My watch is U+Watch BW01 from Gearbest. I have MT6260DA chip and SH08_M8_V2.0. I messed my firmware and I do not have backup. MAUI.11B.W13.08.MP.V15 is nearest but screen is skewed. If anyone can make firmware from his watch, I will be thankful.

"Invalid file_len in GFH_FILE_INFO"

I guess? I do not have orginal U8, but i think that orginal has silver button on it's right side. You can post pics tho, just be careful with dissasembly, shoot a pic of the chip.

Thank you! I just popped my watch into my usb and my driver read it as a "Carneo" smartwatch, a name I have not seen once since I've fallen down this rabbit hole. The watch build info refers to it as an Aosmart, which is the brand I bought, and is not-google-able.

Anyway, now I know why it's taken me so long to figure out what my watch is. It hasn't matched any of the readouts anyone posted except one or two-- those posts were not responded to with answers. Wow, "Carneo"...
