U8100/ U81XX ios styled rom ( joy os rom )

Hi everyone...........
This is my first post on xda......................
I have ported joy os 1.2.2 to u8100/u8110/u81xx..............
It is fully functioning rom based on cm7.2 sources

CREDITS :--> Joilaroi for his perfect kernel & BASE CM7.2 ROM......................

Missing FM (no sources available. Same for U8100, U8110, C8500, C8600, U8150, M860 and several others)

joy launcher ( laggy and keep fc ... )
iphone notifications..( if you like it then install from market )

EASIEST METHOD TO INSTALL CUSTOM RECOVERY ON DEVICES..............
1. download recovery manager.apk from here === http://android.podtwo.com/recoverymanager/RecoveryManager_v0.37b.zip
2. install it and open it then choose the option install recovery from menu........
3. choose your recovery.img
4. reboot into recovery.............

Install Notes:
FIRST MAKE NAND BACKUP IN RECOVERY pwr+vlUp+dial
1-Install Rom Manager from Market and enter
2-Flash ClockworkMod Recovery 5.0.2.3 for Huawei U8100
3-wipe everything before install ( DALVIK CATCHE, FACTORY RESET, ETC........)
4-Install Rom from Sd Card
5-Choose the Rom
6- REBOOT

I can tell by the Screenshots that this is a really good ROM, and I would like to check it out, but... I have the U8120
Is there any chance to see this ROM compatible with my device? Or is it just going to stay for U8100?

- everything works excellent and very fast

Hi guys,

I hope you can help me on this one, my u8120 is gettin older and older. It gets more errors, faults and other crazy **** every week. Like headphones not working anymore or the dpad not doing what I want etc. But it wasn't that annoying, until now...It's really weird and I've got no idea what it causes or how to fix it. Let's get to the point: I was using joilaroi's update 28 and I wanted to try one miui Rom(I think it was takisbesos') so I did a full wipe and flashed the Rom using CWM 5.0.2.7 for u8120. Everything went alright(it was a bit buggy at start but that's it), but once I completed my setup I noticed my apps from the previous Rom(joilaroi's) were still there with data of some apps.... Apparently the factory reset didn't reset everything so I tried it again and again and with CWM 5.0.2.8 for u8150 and with other roms but nothing worked then itried flashing an old recovery with Rom manager,but my version was too new so it didn't let me flash recoveries not meant for my phone...so Please help me with this.. I'm kinda desperate cause I just want to test roms clean and not loaded with all of my apps...

yes, there is a solution to ur problem.......
just follow my steps and you will get what u want..
instructions for flashing new rom=======

1. go to recovery.......( cwm )
2. wipe factory data reset.
3. wipe cache partition..
4. go to advanced option
5. wipe dalvik cache
6. wipe battery stats ( if you have battery drain problem )
7. go back to main menu and choose mount and storage.......
8. format your boot
9. format your system
10. format your data
11. format your splash
12. format your datadata
13. format your sd ext.
14.but beware there is a option format sd card ( never do this as it will erase your sd and you will not be able to flash new rom )
15. flash a new rom
16. usually use joilaroi's update 28/29 after this as there may be chance to get bootloop with other rom

just try it and report back

Works smoothly on my old U8100.

Installed superuser, titanium backup pro, busybox, map, goggle, k9, ireader. After moving movable apps to SD, have lots of RAM left (150MB).

Compared with Joilaroi's cm7, very fast. Virtually no lag.
