Os boots perfectly so downloaded TWRP app and the same ISO file and flashed it from the app.
Now it doesn't crash or reboots into TWRP.

I used the TWRP Manager app to download and install the latest img and flash BUT it has screwed my phone. It looks like the original Sony recovery is now all that is there. I can't reboot into bootloader, I get a blank screen with a blue LED.

I did the adb push in FOTAKernel but my recovery is still broken. How do I adb push into the main bootloader?
thanks
Paul

Although recovery is in FOTAKernel and I can boot into the touch screen isnt responding. I am unable to choose anything or unlock it when it locks.

I have xperia z android 5.1.1 with unlocked bootloader but not rooted

Now I have done the step:
fastboot flash boot twrp3.0.2.img

My phone is alway in TWRP mode after restart.

In HOW TO INSTALL EASILY TO FOTA :
* Flash to FOTA : Install the TWRP FOTA zip,
1. When can TWRP 3.0.2 FOTA zip be found?
2. In which partition shall it be flashed in TWAP? It seems that I can only see boot partition in TWRP.

Thank you so much.

Why are you installing the old 3.0?
Take the current 3.2.2 and your problem will be solved.

Hi, I have installed the 3.0, because in this post it says that in the Xperia Z (Yuga) in the versions of android 5.0 and 5.1.1 TWRP is not compatible as of version 3.2.1.0.
That's right?
Thank you so much

Working for kitkat? I use cusrom exsistenz ultimate
Yes, this TWRP should work without problems on kitkat.

To all: Please test first official build, based on new device tree(android-7.1) - http://build.twrp.me/twrp-3.2.1-0-yuga.img (not compatible with android 5.0.2/5.1.1)

New version 3.2.1 same with this?

    https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/development/kernel-ub-t3198491

In new version can use fast charging?
This is not kernel, it's only recovery image for FOTA partition

Now I have done the step:

    fastboot flash boot twrp3.0.2.img

    Same issue after flashing twrp(latest)

    Bootloader: Unlocked

    Rom: Stock LB(5.1.1)

    Phone is not rooted

    Any help would be appreciated.
Please follow the Instructions of the twrp installation for exactly this device and use the newest version.
    1
    Steps that I followed:

    adb reboot bootloader

    fastboot devices

    fastboot flash boot twrp_yuga.img

    fastboot reboot

    adb push twrp_yuga.img /sdcard

    adb shell

    dd if=/sdcard/twrp_yuga.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/FOTAKernel

    exit

but then after pressing reboot then system in twrp, the phone is rebooting into twrp not in android system. :crying:
I don't know where you got the instruction, but this mixes the right and wrong steps together. :silly:
    Please look at twrp.me :)
