NEXUS 4 does have some issues that might leave your phone inoperable unless you disassemble the back of the phone and unplug/plug the battery connector
Following Devices images are available:

INSTRUCTIONS TO FLASH VIA TWRP or CWM:
1) Download the following 2 files FOR (Samsung Galaxy Nexus GSM):
-quantal-preinstalled-armel+maguro.zip
-quantal-preinstalled-phablet-armhf.zip
from here : Link -> http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-touch-preview/quantal/mwc-demo/
IMPORTANT: notice my instructions are only maguro which is the GSM Samsung Galaxy Nexus ....
NEXUS 4 users should be downloading and installing the MAKO and NOT the Maguro.
Nexus 10 download Manta
Nexus 7 download Grouper
2) Do Naroidbackup on Nexus
3) Factory Reset!
4) Flash the 2 files you downloaded for your device
5) let boot and enjoy
HOW TO GET BACK TO ANDROID:
Easy as flashing a rom... Just shut the phone down ( you will have to do a battery pull)
& go into recovery - & flash as usual... works perfectly.
What to expect after flashing?

Connection to the GSM network (on Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 4)
Phone calls and SMS (on Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 4)
Networking via Wifi
Functional camera (front and back)
