Atrix2 has a locked bootloader so porting Ubuntu won't be possible

Actually Jim said he was going to be working on this. In his "testers needed" thread. Not sure how far he's gotten with it though.

first of all WRONG SECTION .......... !!!

i dont think you would be having any restriction posting in any section (by looking at your post nos.)

please read Noobs guide .... we have Q & A section separate !! ... and this (ubuntu for A2) is covered by "Jim" himself

second thing... please SEARCH BEFORE POSTING this is very first basic rule of XDA !!
