Really would like to see some kind of test builds. Don't have to release anything to the public, just proof that there is some progress. And who knows, maybe someone could help by testing for you. Keep up the hard work.

I agree with you but the OP does state the beta is releasing on the 30th of October.

Well I'll stick around and wait then. I don't really mind if stuff doesn't work. Calling, SMS, MMS, data, and music player is good enough for me for the time being but I'm sure others would want more. So keep up the work.
