Capitalize text / date
UCCW is... simply the best to customize home screen! I'm glad using it by first release on Playstore! G-r-e-a-t!
One only question: with the current version, how to make a Data text object "capitalized"?
I mean, for example: sat, 20 september ----> Sat, 20 September
(first letter upper case)

It's been a minute, but I believe you just need to change the extension to uzip in a file browser... Eg., .apk to .uzip
I use ASTRO or root browser.

After reading the write-up about making Nova look like the new Nexus Launcher using Zooper Widger, I felt something better could be created UCCW (which is up to date and free). The Top Widget (sized 4x1) opens the Google App and Google Calendar. The Drawer Widget (sized 1x1) opens the Nova app drawer.
I updated the zip with a "wide" version of the top bar that better fits my Nexus 7

Is it only me who misses UCCW? I havent got the hang of KLWP and others. =/
I am still stuck with UCCW and Zooper..my homescreens are just one-pagers, so there's little point in using KLWP
Wow! This one got dug up from the grave. I always liked this as well. More simple product than the new stuff.

Thread to share UCCW Skins - apk and uzip.
With the new version of UCCW it is easier than ever to create and share skins.
Apks of skins can be created from within app itself.
You don't need to know coding to make apks of UCCW skins. And its free.
Multiple skins can be combined in one apk.
The resulting apk can be uploaded to Google play to share with the world.
Advantages of Apk skins:
1) Easier to install, uninstall.
2) Easier management of skins. Multiple skins in one apk.
3) Apk skins have limited customization. So the users can customize the skin to their liking without deviating from the basic structure and look of the original skin.
4) No dependence on SD card.
5) Users are familiar with apks.
6) Ability to upload in google play. People can rate themes. Creators can easily provide updates. Creators can also earn money for their work. Skins are easily available just by searching for UCCW skins in Google play.
Here is how its done.

It comes with 11 hotspots, 7 static text, all customizable...
At this moment, its only a english version, but later on i will also make it in dutch... (for people, who want that, please contact me)...
Also, there is one thing that not worked as well, you see 3 icons (bluetooth, wifi, gps), but seems there are problems with the task variables...
Possible to modify
- Text: Favourite links (FACEBOOK, GMAIL, GALLERY)
- Text: Menu (MESSAGES, CALLS, WEB)
- Picture: Place your own picture
- Battery bar: Choose your own battery bar
- Of course all the other text like (min, max temperature, location, wind, weather conditions, hour, min, date, number of calls, number of messages, battery level) => Size and color

- Facebook: link to facebook app
- Gmail: link to gmail app
- Gallery: link to quickpick
- Files: link to solid explorer
- Phone settings: link to your phone settings
