Thought the G4 with the leather back looked gorgeous

I wanted physical buttons but man is that modular genius. I mean think about all the capabilities for the future.

It's a good idea just not executed very well. The all metal and glass, rounded design is nice, a step in the right direction towards a more slimline device, but then it's as if the aesthetics of the phone have been compromised in favour of the practicality of this little module quirk.

If you're going to carry around a camera module, you could just as easily carry around an actual camera - they're inexpensive and have better zoom functionality, etc.

If you need more power on the go then a power bank is going to cost you significantly less than a replacement battery, have up to triple the capacity and be compatible with your other devices too.

Then there's Bender's eyes protruding out of the back and suddenly any attempt at making it slim and sexy is null and void.

I dont think so

South Korean smartphone maker LG latest flagship LG G5 recently got theBest New Smartphone award at the 2016 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona last month for its innovative approach. The device houses a 2800mAh battery that slides out from the bottom of the phone, leaving a slot that can be used to insert various modules for enhanced DSLR camera controls, better sound quality, a virtual reality viewer and much more.

People thought this was innovative too. Doesn't mean it was any good ;)

If Verizon offers the Cam 360, battery and charger dock free, I'll get this. Otherwise, I'll wait until the HTC 10 comes before I decide on the S7, G5 or HTC 10.

IPS for the win, always better. And... Ugly? What? This phone looks great, and thank GOD they got rid of those dang back buttons. Dumbest design choice since removing microSD on some phones. The G5 is the future of phones, metal with removable batteries, and modules! That's the future, modules. I'm so pumped.

The back buttons are the only thing I miss from my G3. The G5 looks fine from the front and the metal is nice, it's just the goofy visor protruding from the back and that hideous camera add-on.
