i need some help because the seller refuses to help and acts like he doesn't understand english. I am a car audio installer and the 4 radio is no longer working well. memory forgets radio settings when acc is connected, after 2 minutes, good for 1-2 days, dsp sound quality is pathetic and painful, only radio sound quality is good, usb, youtube, spotyfi, itunes, video and all other crap it says, no subwoofer setting and control option, developer mode cannot be entered via build number, device customization is not possible, menu access is limited, neither system nor mcu can be updated, many settings cannot be done. there is only a problem with the installation of the uis7862 processor!

1.Download the two firmware in your computer, they are <update.zip> and <MCU.bin> , please do not unzip them.

2.Copy the <update.zip> document into your Udisk root path. And copy the <MCU> document into your Udisk root path.

3.Connect your Udisk to our player, and then follow settings-general-system upgrade, and then it will upgrade itself, please do not cut the power during the upgrade. And the player will reboot itself. This step will take about 6 minutes.

4.When you finish upgrading the system, then follow settings-General-MCU Upgrade- select the upgrade file -Confirm, and it will upgrade itself. This step will take about 1 minute.

5.After upgrade all, we also need to activate the weather APK, please set your cellphone WiFi hotspot name as FYQP5QRG, and connect the player WiFi to your cellphone hotspot, and then it will activate the weather APK. When you are using an iPhone, please do not connect your iPhone Bluetooth to our player before you activate the weather APK, it is very important. After you activate the weather APK, you can connect your iPhone Bluetooth normally.

6.The MCU upgrade may lead to the touch screen and touch panel not working correctly, please use your five fingers to long touch the screen and go to calibration mode to adjust the touch screen. And about the touch panel please follow the steps settings-factory-8888-ok-touch learning button, in this way you can set it correctly.

7.After the upgrade, you need to set the correct CANBUS type if your car has CANBUS system ,please follow the steps settings-factory-8888 ok-car model
8.The firmware upgrade may lead to the Carletter APK not activated, please take the picture of QR code and send to us, we will activate it for you.

@ffontana @Mtxaudio just installed S1 ( 3GB/32GB ) version and having the same issues, seems my FW is even older than you had originally, would you know if my radio can be updated with your firmware above?

1. download these two files. copy <Update.zip> and <MCU.bin> to the root directory of a formatted USB drive(FAT-32).

2. plug the U-disk into the unit. enter Settings-General-System Upgrade. the system upgrade will start automatically. the step takes about 6 minutes, please do not cut the power off during the process.

3. after upgrading the system, enter Settings-General-MCU Upgrade- select the upgrade file -Confirm to do MCU upgrade. the step takes about 1 minute.
