GT-I9100_DXLP9.i360.UK\wanam\modem.bin is binary identical to I9100DXLP9_I9100OLBLP9_I9100DXLP9_HOME\modem.bin

and

GT-I9100_DXLP9.i360.UK\wanam\zImage is binary identical to CF-Root-SGS2_XW_XSA_LP8-v5.4-CWM5\zImage

You have to install it via ClockworkMod Recovery

I'm unrooted atm, got an insecure kernel, using the official 4.0.3 rom atm, which i received ota. only got my sgs2 on tuesday though.

I can't seem to root properly though, but I'll get around it eventually

What is your Build and Baseband version?

using lps 4.0.3 and its ok...tho i have a text issue where i receive a text alert in my notification bar, pull it down and open...but the homescreen text envelope still shows a message to be read. honestly, gingerbread 2.3.5. was much better...this feels like it ain't even finished.

The modem in your link is binary identical to stock. What about this do you not understand? It is the same file.

Whatever, I see you've now removed your original fantasy claim anyway (below for prosperity)
