There's no excitement unfortunately just tonnes of excrement about this launch lol. Monday is pretty much mid May so the people saying calm down must be having theirs already lol

They pretty much had to announce it was shipping before it was actually shipping to keep their "early May" promise. Either way there is absolutely no excuse to have other sellers get their units into customers hands before anyone who pre preordered direct from HTC. It's been an extremely sloppy release and HTC need to sort it out asap .

Thanks you for your answer. My order status is always "boxed shipment" and i don't receive anything related the shipping date. May be the only thing that i can do is waiting
I had to phone HTC direct to cancel my original order. I ordered before the promo code came out.
Still waiting for my second order. Getting frustrated with the lack of communication and how other non htc customers are getting theirs before htc customers. Totally unfair and very bad PR for a company that can't afford it.

It appears that the, limited numbers, that got shipped/delivered in UK was just to say they kept their word re. May 6th despatch. However, if they only had limited numbers to ship surely they should've been sent to folk who ordered through HTC UK not third party retailers.

Anyone on here on EE who has already received their unbranded 10? would it be possible to see if the wifi calling is working, or if only EE brand phones will work.

Guys, update with CPW orders. Latest delivery fulfilment date is the 13th of May.

That was the response I got from CPW yesterday but they also told me that HTC hadn't released any devices to them at all - clearly complete drivel, although I accept they probably only received a handful as a token gesture from HTC.

One thing I've learned from previous pre-orders is that you can't rely on CPW shipping on a first come first served basis and you will never be able to second guess the CPW random order fulfillment process.

Having lived through the Galaxy Nexus car crash of a launch, this delay is really nothing at all.

Like I said, I wouldn't expect volume shipment until the week 16-20th May.

Just saying as an industry worker with no inside knowledge, just experience since the G1/Desire.

and even though I was clearly one of the VERY lucky ones to get my 10 on Friday, CPW have just got around to sending me a handful of confusing replies to my tweets sent days ago telling me i'll have to wait til 18th... lol. looks like everyone is completely confused on both sides!

I can't complain too much, I've been lucky with my previous two phones and they've generally been very good. Comms and flow of info to customer services is shocking though.

This is on HTC, Initial bulk pee order / in store shipments were supposed to be on the 6th. But that got delayed. No stock in any stores. Hopefully get some sort of update from them, don't even have POS, Dummy / Demo handsets of the 10

I'm going to purchase it as soon as its physically available

When HTC said the 10 will be "available early May" they didn't actually specify 2016.... Just a thought ?

No way?! Congtrats. Is that because you told them that we all cancelled our HTC orders and went with them instead?

Seid45 jokingly said i should be on commission for very, i thought it was funny so i tweeted them the pic. They hit up the forums and read through the thread and emailed me with the kind gesture :).

    Very.co.uk Ordered 3rd May Delivered today :)

    Great service...

As a little sweetener Very.co.uk acknowledged the positive impact i had for them on social media and gave me a further 20% off with free delivery. Got the 10 for £371.

Can't believe Very are going to beat HTC direct to the punch lol, what a farce.
Completely agree! They've been out done by a website that specialises in selling white goods and women's fashion hahaha. Pathetic!

Imagine Apple launching the iPhone 7 but failing so badly that customers end up having to order the phone off Jacamo! It just wouldn't happen would it!

I assume we're still going to get the hi-res headphones with our Very orders?
