General UK Pre Orders - Galaxy S23 Ultra

Well I found out my shipment is the case because they sent me an email afterwards letting me know the case shipped. Still no new on the phone.

I thought it was the case because in the order info on DPD tracking it had Samsung's order number which matched that of the case, but neither were showing as dispatched on Samsung tracking, so I was clinging onto hope maybe they'd shipped both together. Oh well, worse things going on in the world. I can wait.

I missed my DPD delivery because of parents evening but am 100% sure now it was just the case as the parcel looked tiny from doorbell footage. Why they couldn't post through the letterbox I don't know.

Phone still showing preparing for dispatch and has been since Sunday morning. Disheartening to see others get theirs who ordered after me (I ordered Feb 1st). Fingers crossed for movement tonight. Glad those who have it are enjoying them. Makes the wait worth it!

But from what I've seen on the reviews the box only contains the phone so could have been that

My order has changed to prep for dispatch and I ordered on 02/02/2023. Email from Samsung says that it can be delivered from 08/02/2023.

Argh - so frustrating! DPD are usually rock-solid round this way... so why, oh why, do they have to be late today of all days?! Lol
Tracking just says the driver is running 'a little behind' - sod's law he'll come when I'm doing the school run! He's got 1h10mins...

Thankfully yes... with 10mins to spare! Was just enough time to slap a screen protector and a case on it and let it start restoring from the cloud!

When I pre ordered my graphite S22 Ultra last year, I had to wait like 3 waits before it arrived. At least when I got it, there was 2 in the box lol

Got mine all screen protector fitted, restored over 70GB and logged in by midday.

Used Samsung T7 portable SSD and smart switch.

Amazingly fast and feels like the Ultra I've always hoped for but Samsung never quite delivered.

Even managed to return my S22 Ultra to Samsung via the post office before 3pm as part of the trade in.

Not as stressed now as the strike action is also canceled

Definitely not... although I was worried that the phone wasn't in the main box as all the trade-in stuff was on top and the actual phone box is so small that I thought they'd forgotten to put it in! Lol
