That's good news, not least because it makes me even happier with my decision to import. I have the thing on my wrist already - lay you decent odds not too many others will before Christmas - plus including service charges and international shipping I got mine for about £185, give or take.

No affiliation or debt to Big Apple Buddy whatsoever, but the service I got was superb - staggeringly good.

£200 seems a little steep. You can pick up a G Watch R for that, about $100 more stateside. Looks like you did get a good deal with Big Apple Buddy.

The zenwatch a supposed to be around the £150 mark from what Asus said at IFA. Why do you think it's so much more now? It's more expensive than the US version which is odd. When I pre ordered on expansys in October they gave a price of £154.

Yup, increasingly seems to be that greedy manufacturers take the price in USD and charge the same amount in GBP

There's the usual "US prices exclude tax" and cost of doing business in the UK, but when you can buy, ship and import something from the US in a few days, and noticeably cheaper then something's not right somewhere. Hopefully Asus realise a pricing mistake like in the US and rectify. PC World does seem an odd choice too.

As a side issue, I tried to post this comment twice earlier on my mobile and was both times redirected to a phishing site telling me I've got a virus. Is there another scam going around with ads? (haven't seen this on other sites on my phone).

Yeah it is funny why pc world/currys were chosen as the only retailer. Same thing with the nexus 6 and Carphone warehouse. But wait, they're all owned by Dixons! Something fishy going on?

They told me stores have deliveries on certain days and due to Xmas I may have got it earlier as had it posted to home . Pot luck with their delivery days I guess.

Yep. I didn't know whether I'd be at work or home because of holidays so store collection seemed easier. Pot luck though, we'll see. In theory though, yours gets here today - whoop!

Here it is. Just downloading updates.... Which is quite a slow process!
Voice recognition isn't great when sending texts but may be because of the updates taking place... Will try again soon. Nice looking watch.

Ok so needs the latest update definitely. Not used ok Google much so learning curve here, but love the watch it feels good and performs well. Will rely on using cards more than before also.
