UK retail 2.2.2

I am one of those idiots that upgraded to 2.3.4 but I had my firmware nandroid and I had created a fixed sbf incase I needed to downgrade. But I formatted my laptop so i dont have a nandroid anymore. I'm in the UK on vodafone but the phone was retail has anybody got a nandroid for this I can't remember the proper name of the sbf. It is just named firmware.sbf now due to fixing it.
Reason I need it is when my phone is ended on contract (which is soon) I'm giving my phone to my sister.

Edit: my phone was a present and my family doesn't know I modded it that's why I'm asking for a proper version as opposed to that CEE

I tried to unpack a British retail sbf. Extract CG39.smg. then repack it as system.img. I then ran md5 sum. I restore the system.img and then flash the sbf but it doesn't work. I'm no Linux expert or anything but will this method not ever work or am I doing something wrong
