Seems Mr Jobs was correct when he said that others could not match the pricing of the iPad.

I will go nuts if I pre-order and the price drops after a few weeks/months...
Wifi + LCD version of the Notion Ink Adam is $375... it's running a 10.1" screen, Tegra2 Dual Core Chip, etc. It's definitely priced lower than the iPad and has better performance specs -- the difficulty would be in getting one delivered though! ;)

Regarding the Notion Ink Adam, I feel so bad for the owner with this thrid delay. Something like 40 percent of the preorders are cancelled now. They are even offering free gifts for those that stay on and wait. Looks like a great tablet.

Better book your place in the asylum then, Android devices of any description always price drop like a stone.
The Galaxy Tab is 45% cheaper already, they can't give away a Galaxy S, Dell Streak is going the same way, i want a Xoom but i won't buy one until April or May and then pick one up for £400 or less.

I dont think the Xoom will drop so quick. I think all those "1st Gen" Android tablets were doomed to begin with and the Tab was over priced to begin with. I had bought the Archos 70 back in November for $278 and up until a few weeks ago, they couldn't keep them in stock. I finally did buy a Verizon Tab for $399 at BestBuy because of a BB promotion last week because I wanted the official Market. I doubt it will drop below this mark until they go on clearance for good (probably soon!).

Now, I'm probably returning it (part of the 16% Tab group I guess) because the Xoom semi-official release is either the 17th or 24th.

Is this tablet going to work with the european 3G network? I mean, does it a have any SIM card slot? Or it will only work on Verizon network?

I live in the UK and am *desperate* to get a Xoom. I earn £17 a week (paper boy :p), so in theory it will take me until at least October to save up. I am hoping the Xoom comes down to about £500 so I can get one around September, which coincidentally is also the month of my birthday :)
