Ultimate Guide for Flashing GSI For Kuntao ( Lenovo P2A42 )

something is very wrong......
First if I flash lineage then any other gsi like pixel experience, it gives me decryption unsuccessful error.... I'm not even able to format the storage to remove encryption. I did format the encryption using an older version of twrp as the twrp provided for treble gives an error like ''
Unable to format data. Unble to remove encryption
-Now When I formatted data using earlier twrp and hen flashed the treble one and then flashed lineage. Booted and it still encrypted my phone. So the loop goes on again.
I dont know whats wrong. Treble flashing should be easy... been awake since last night trying to make it ork by using different combinations but no luck.

can anyone help?

Hi, i too have faced the same issue, i dont think we are flashing a correct GSI, maybe A only is not compatiable to our phone, i too have tried twice, but failed installing GSI, may be there will be much light on this issue when Android P comes out :highfive:

Plz confirm that the nfc is working or not in gsi. Because mine is not working in any gsi. Even the Nfc option is not present in setting.

After flashing GSI NFC is not working

didnt check that on oreo gsi but on P it doesnt work as of now

I can't make any gsi work.Always returns password and reset phone screens on reboot.Entering password says password accepted but decryption unsuccessful.Reset phone takes to TWRP but does nothing and reboots to the same password screen.What to do?

Bro, I already searched and didn't find any solution. In GSI, no volte option is present. That's what I found. Maybe in future, there will be option to enable volte in GSI

U can flash any gsi...once ur device is treble supported...that's why treble is so useful

ur data is encrypted. You need to decrypt it. Just format data in twrp. If thats giving an error, just flash an official twrp version and format data, then do as the op says
