Can be done with some technical skill and the use of small drilling and milling tools - just you need to be aware of the direction of the 2nd sim - its somehow different to usual dual sim trays. (The cutted edges of the sim are facing towards each other). Somewhere here in the forums you can see a picture - will send you the link if I can still find it.

This is funny - it shows basically the whole process from SIM preparation, TWRP and ROM installation. It is in Indonesian language and I dont know, if european SIM cards can be prepared in the same way.
I got my dual SIM tray here in Indonesia within 3 days - so actually no need to do the extra work for preparation. Sure, if you have an old SIM card to try first, if they are produced in the same way then this would be a rather smart way to updated temporary.

Hi, have you tested Android Auto with xiaomi.eu_multi_MI10_20.8.7_v12-11.zip rom? Because for me is impossible to connect my MI10 with this rom to my car. Thanks in advance

Then you need to write in full the instructions you followed so we can work out what went wrong ( don't just say I followed these steps)

Plus the full name of ROM used and Twrp version and you device name

I started with a clean official 11.0.7.0
Flashed TWRP_umi by the lr team using fastboot flash recovery TWRP_umi.img
rebooted to recovery
Format data
copy rom to device xiaomi.eu_multi_MI10_20.8.7_v12-11.zip
flash rom
wipe cache/dalvik
reboot to recovery
advanced wipe - cache+dalvik
reboot - off
Power on
Stuck on MIUI logo
No buttons to press

HI
Unable to root xiaomi.eu 20.8.7
Flashed magisk using TWRP

Magisk app shows not installed

Any pointers?
Same problem here with the 20.8.7.
If I'm not wrong, this was said to be an android 11 version. Maybe that's the reason why rooting is still not working and Magisk can't be installed like usual.

I think I will stay with android 10 for now. Just flashed the last stable Miui 12 version for MI10 and everything is working fine here.

Hi, Did you flash the Miui 12 version on your miui 12.1 20.8.7?

Which ROM? Did you go from Android 11 to back to 10?

Yes correct, I have flashed the Xiaomi.eu MIUI 12 stable, version 12.0.8 now. I had to wipe everything and format data to get data decrypted.

Yes, I left android 11 and went back to android 10. I think you can see what android version in the file name of the ROM...

Before Xiaomi.eu weekly 2020.8.7-12-11
Now Xiaomi.eu stable 12.0.8 - 12-10

There was the 1st Xiaomi.eu weekly I flashed after unlocking Bootloader
Xiaomi.eu weekly 2020.6.18 - 12-10

That one was ok for me...not to many bugs with a good performance and battery life.

Sent from my umi using XDA Labs
