May I ask you how you bought it. From outside EU, and if so, did you have to pay tax? The prices I see from Eu are substantially higher.I cant fix GPS with my two umi super with stock rom...

The camera is the weakest thing.. Phone is 196g so heavy, but feels good in your hand..What's the camera like? Is the phone really heavy?
It depends on the shipping type, which one have you choosed?Any body in the USA received it yet?
I ordered mine from Aliexpress, and was shipped on June 7th?
Any idea how long it might take?
I ordered from Banggood on June 2nd and it is currently somewhere between Flushing NY and Knoxville TN after 14 days.......it should be in my hands soon! I tried for a coupon for a few days and never could get anything to work.... then saw it on Banggood for US $204, free shipping/no tax. Also, anybody that finds a quality TPU cover anywhere please give a shout. So far can only find the poly snap-on see thru kind which is very minimal protection.....CheersAny body in the USA received it yet?
I used the cheapest option PostNL. The tracking showing 'on the way to destination country' for the last one week. Guess I shall have to wait a bit more.It depends on the shipping type, which one have you choosed?

I just got mine too and really hope that we can get more things like a proper forum section of it... that's the reason I join back this siteBought one as-well, do you think we could expect a proper forum section ?
I just got mine and it works on T-Mobile but only got 3G not 4G nor LTEWhy wouldn't it work on a US GSM network like T-Mobile?
I ordered mine the same way and it took around 3 weeks to get hereI used the cheapest option PostNL. The tracking showing 'on the way to destination country' for the last one week. Guess I shall have to wait a bit more.
Well, that very much depends on what T-Mobile you're talking about. The Umi Super supports LTE bands 1, 3, 7 and 20. Pretty much what you'll need to have you covered in Europe. So with the mother company T-Mobile Germany and its European subsidiaries you should be okay.I just got mine and it works on T-Mobile but only got 3G not 4G nor LTE![]()

For the battery life, I can easily get a more than day of web browsing, messaging and phone calls so I guess it's ok. But just remember that everyone uses a phone in a different way.How is battery life? Does it last longer than a day without a charge? How quickly does it discharge when playing a game (got another Mediatek mobile atm and 1min in Star Trek Timelines drops the battery by 1%)?
EDIT: Please disregard. Was already answered a few posts back. Sorry! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=67303569&postcount=61
And how did everyone buy? I'm thinking of taking the risk of an Aliexpress store (Black Peach) since they still sell it for $179,99 while Gearbest et al. $199,99 minimum. Did anyone have to pay import tax (EU or Germany) yet? Thanks for your replies.
Yeah the weird thing is in USA here when I called T-Mobile they told me about the 4G has 1900, 2100Mhz and but I guess the bands are different which I don't know different bands would have same Mhz...Well, that very much depends on what T-Mobile you're talking about. If you're referring to T-Mobile USA though, you're out of luck. If I'm not completely mistaken, you require bands 4, 12 and 17 there. So no LTE with the Super for you.
I always check on Wikipedia about bands before I travel. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks is a great source. There are several bands on the same frequency, yes. So better always check the phone bands!Yeah the weird thing is in USA here when I called T-Mobile they told me about the 4G has 1900, 2100Mhz and but I guess the bands are different which I don't know different bands would have same Mhz...![]()
As Nexus user, i suggest to put on the table 50€ more and get Nexus 5X 32gb..Hey everyone,
I am thinking about buying a UMI Super as a replacement for my Nexus 5.
Have any of you that already received their Super tested out the camera yet? That is the main factor making me hesitate about buying the device because most reviews said the camera produces bad images.
Also: Has anybody tested the Super in German networks yet (preferably O2)?
And what is you general advice? Buy the Super? Wait? Or buy something else (Elephone P9000 e.g. looks promising too)?
Thanks in advance for the help
Ah, thank you, that is an option I hadn't considered yet. But does it have a SD card slot?As Nexus user, i suggest to put on the table 50€ more and get Nexus 5X 32gb..
Super is a good device, but camera is only average and the weight is important..
