As Nexus user, i suggest to put on the table 50€ more and get Nexus 5X 32gb..
Super is a good device, but camera is only average and the weight is important..
Sent by Mi5 64Gb
I am buying it solely for the 4000mAH battery. The weight is a sacrifice you have to make if you want that big a battery. Also there is expandable storage.
And, the review for Nexus 5x camera is not that good either.
Umi Super you can get for 179$ only, hard to find a N5x for 230$

There are positives for N5x also, but right now I am a bit biased towards the Umi. :)

Hey everyone,
I am thinking about buying a UMI Super as a replacement for my Nexus 5.
Have any of you that already received their Super tested out the camera yet? That is the main factor making me hesitate about buying the device because most reviews said the camera produces bad images.
Also: Has anybody tested the Super in German networks yet (preferably O2)?
And what is you general advice? Buy the Super? Wait? Or buy something else (Elephone P9000 e.g. looks promising too)?

Thanks in advance for the help
I was pleasantly surprised by the UMI Super camera: the more I use it, the more I am satisfied with the overall quality of photos and videos. It's far from excellent, but it's not bad at all.

Just curious, what are your reasons for buying the Umi, when you will not be able to use 4G/LTE in FL?? I myself was misled by something I read about it being compatible with AT&T, and then after ordering, realized that it's a no go in the states.........probably try to sell mine as soon as it arrives!! :(

Just out of curiosity to try out a Chinese manufacturer device. I have a LG G5, which is a killer device, specially the camera. But the battery life is sub par. I don't use mobile data much, my monthly usage is less than 1GB. So, 3G connectivity may be okay for me.

Mine is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I might try to resell it too, depending on how I like it or not.

Uhh, my excuse is that I'm an Android junkie and I couldn't say no to a device with these specs for $179, if even just to play with for a while. I've ordered a pre-pay TMO SIM for testing although I'm usually on Wi-Fi and as a Project Fi customer use hangouts for everything. As far as a Chinese OEM my primary device is the Huawei Nexus 6p, the finest device I've ever owned.

@suhridkhan and @Maybelle: I was very curious too. When some of these new Chinese companies start targeting the US market, we're going to have a bunch of great options. I got my phone today and it looks and runs great!! Was able to do a speed test on 3g.....3 up and 1 down, so I won't be putting my OnePlus One in the drawer, but it will be fun to play with for awhile. Cheers!!

That's good to hear, makes me look forward to receiving mine even more :) (shipped from China today)

I have 2 and they are great phones, but the lack of LTE is a killer for me(saw the price/specs and didn't do much research)... any suggestions on where to sell them?

It depends where you live. You should've checked LTE bands before you got the phone. LTE works for me without any problems (I live in poland).
Btw the newest update did something crazy to the battery. It just doesn't want to die ;):):) I noticed that the background task clear is off by default with the new update.
Anyway I really like the phone.

But the front camera seems taking really close (big face) /small area... I used galaxy Note 5 holding at same distant got much better (half body not just face) and less noise too

Currently I'm user of UMI ZERO and now want to change a phone since GPS is unusable in my ZERO (accuracy is very bad and still overheating when navigating with Google Maps online). Also ZERO crashed quite often and battery indicator shows strange measures.
Please give me hint if UMI SUPER is worth of money and especially no problem with GPS and overheating. Could you share your opinion about your experience from daily usage. If you could change decision, still decide to buy UMI SUPER?
I've watched many "unboxing" video, but now want to know opinion of real users.
After not funny story with UMI ZERO I thought to forget UMI brand but maybe they done homework and now quality of their product is improved.

A new "Europe Cup Limited Edition" was presented by UMI in royal blue color. A bit late though since the Euro 2016 final will already be in two weeks and you can't order it in any store yet. Would have prefered that really great looking blue over the golden one I ordered (and should be receiving somewhen next week).

There is no double tap 2 wake. However, if fingerprint lock is enabled, you can wake/unlock the phone just by placing your finger on the sensor. It's actually more convenient than dt2w.
It would be if the scanner was on the front of the phone.
Im thinking mucky paws, phone on desk, quick double tap.

Also does anyone know how to take screenshot with this phone?
