Anyone able to provide a super.img file? Currently I have a bricked device after flashing a blank vendor.img while installing a GSI. I have extracted the firmware and am able to flash the majority of images except any related to the super.img.

Is the super partition the same for both slot A & B or is each slot individual? If it's individual to each slot then slot A should still be available since B was deleted during GSI install, correct!?
Any help flashing the main images would be appreciated.

Also, if I am unable to get a copy of the super partition, would flashing the images that are successful and using a GSI work?
I'll be uploading the 11.0.5.0 N/A (latest stock unbranded software) if on a carrier variant you'll have to use either a payload dumping tool or fastboot enhanced to flash that firmware version before the super.img I have will work. But at the same time I haven't successfully gotten it to flash via fastboot, only by dd terminal commands in TWRP 😮💨

I have to remove some off topic posts from this thread. From what I read, it seems the topic originated from a discussion in Telegram and spread to XDA.

As XDA could not regulate users' off site activities, all the off topic posts are removed from this thread. Also, being polite is the basic rule on XDA, calling names is not allowed under any condition.

Please keep this thread on topic and settle off site issues off site.

Gents,
I have to lock this thread for now since too many off topic posts here. I feel very sorry to OP of this thread and will unlock this thread after some time.

Again, as I mentioned earlier, please do not bring the issue outside XDA to XDA...

Please cool off for some time and find a suitable platform to discuss and settle your issue.

Thanks for understanding.

Don't ask me why, but I tried to upload a GSI using fastboot to my N200. And that didn't work. So I then read online about other people getting the same error I had, and their fix was deleting the "product" partition and erasing the system partition

Now my phone is stuck in fastboot and won't boot from an image, take a recovery image, etc. etc. it's kinda completely messed up and it's my fault for trying to tinker with commandline tools.

The problem is there is no MSM recovery for my phone, and even if there was virtualbox can't detect my phone's USB(I've already tried with just the nord MSM, I run linux and I was using a win10 VM)

Is there any hope? Do I have to go to a repair shop?
until there is a msm fix use fastboot enhanced i was able to fix 20 de2117 phones with it Excellent Program from Developer

I'm thinking of getting this phone. All you did was flash the payload.bin with fastboot enhanced from the stock ota to recover the phone? I already have fastboot enhanced just doing some research before buying.
Fastboot enhanced can be used for flashing full OTA firmware package on this device to "unbrick" the device. As long as you don't delete the dynamic partitions ( odm, product, system, system_ext, vendor)

Honestly I would recommend the N10 or upcoming N20 because of the faster charging speeds and better display. The N200 display quality is offensive. Even in comparison to the N100's 720p display. It was at least much cleaner looking and was a LG HDR panel.

Excellent! This will be of so much help to many folks out here who have bricked their phones. Look forward to your sharing the tool.

Is the MSMDownload tool, that you got, for the Tmobile version or the unlocked version/retail or both?

My odm, product, system, system_ext, vendor partitions are gone, is there a way to restore or create them?

SOLVED, see post #94 below

You should install the latest Android Platform Tools: Currently v33.0.3
Old versions of platform tools will cause fastboot commands to FAIL!!

Make sure you are in fastbootd mode as well:

Fastbootd is the second stage loader, which can handle the dynamic partitions.
it is reachable by the very poorly named command
fastboot reboot fastboot
(which should have been named fastboot reboot fastbootd).
It reboots to a special version of the Recovery mode, running Fastbootd.
It is a black screen with the one plus logo and the word "fastbootd" at the top, and some touch menus.

Thanks. I am on the latest fastboot version. But I think my fastbootd is no good. When I type fastboot rebbot fastboot I get "fastboot: error: Failed to boot into userspace fastboot; one or more components
might be unbootable."

i had the same problem you need fastboot enhancer tools and to download the android 12 c17 and flash it with the ignore error box checked then that should let you get into fastboot d if not boot to the other slot and try again its tediouse

so did you get just fastbootd or do you have your phone fully back ? because afterwards you can boot to fastboot d and use the same tool to reflash the same software the same way should fully restore

I have flashed lineage on my 2117 succesfully but when I start lineage I can't go through setup because it won't accept any screen inputs.
The buttons on the side work fine, I can adjust the volume and take screen shots but I can not run through setup.
Also once the screen saver comes on it won't let me get the screen back on again to display anything.
Is that heard of and is there a solution to my problem?

you would have better luck asking that question under the correct thread, which would be the linage 20 thread located here:
