I flashed everything as described above, but I still have an error installing OTA, "installation problem" I don’t know what to do anymore, I first flashed super.img then flashed the firmware in both slots, then blocked the bootloader, then turned off the factory unlock and made a wipe , did not help

You could install 1.5.3 as fastboot rom. That would be the latest update.

If you sideload the ota via adb in recovery it gives you the error it produces.

The fastboot roms with super.img are the saving grace for nothing 1 users.

You could try to reboot to edl and use the edl tool too but i dont see the difference to a fastboot rom.

OTA fails usually happen from wrong downloads on this phone.

I understand that I can flash the latest version into a fastboot, but I would like to get working OTA updates so that they come as expected and installed

And if you go back to for example 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 you dont get updates?
Do you try ot install them manually?

You are the first 2 people who dont get ota updates and i need to shoot in the dark because you only say "it does not work". You are not specific, you dont tell what errors you get.

This problem is fixable but not like this.

I tried rolling back to 1.1.7, the update is of course displayed, but during installation it gives an error, if you put 1.5 beta in manual mode, it will give error 20 at the end.

You tried rolling back? This means you not rolled back?

Which error? Did you try to update from 1.1.7 via adb sideload from recovery? (because the recovery gives you a better idea of what is not working)

So you really went back to 1.1.4 or 1.1.3 with super.img and fastboot rom as i described above?

"I tried rolling back to 1.1.7" This means to me, you did not rollback like described above.

Yes, I rolled back to 1.1.7, I write through a translator and apparently sometimes it misfires. I installed 1.1.7, an update arrived, downloaded but not installed, installation error. Then I decided to install through the dialer, it took a long time but at the end there was an error 20. Simply put, after returning from custom, I lost the opportunity to use OTA ... although I installed the stock according to the rules and closed the boot

You rolled back with an super.img to 1.1.7 on BOTH slots?

Because the ota usually installs in the not active slot and if not both slots are one the same version you maybe get errors. So i would suggest to go back to 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 with the according super.img on BOTH slots (you only need to install the super.img once because it does not work otherwise). And after this i bet you get everything working as expected.

I flashed super.img simply, and then the firmware in each of the slots in A and B

with 1.1.7 or with the latest 1.5.3?

You made sure to flash the right region? Global or EEA?
I installed all the firmware I tried using this method. I took the firmware on reindex, we don’t already have division into regions. I first flashed the super img file, then the firmware in both slots, then the bootloader block and the critical block, then the boot block, start, turn off the factory unlock and wipe, the OTA result arrives immediately when setting up the device but is not installed

You can try to download the ota and sideload it in recovery, the recovery gives you a better understanding of what went wrong. You dont need bootloader unlock or root for this to work.

Do you get the error on every ota? So you cant update from 1.1.7 upwards?

You don’t understand me, I want the phone to work like out of the box again, the update arrived and installed in the normal mode. For example, if I sell it, how will a person receive updates?

I understand it. But we cant fix the problem if we dont know what is the problem.

The Recovery gives you more details, not much but more.

And like i said. I reverted this phone several times to a normal state but i always used 1.1.3 EEA.

"we don’t already have division into regions."
We had division into regions before 1.5.2 or 1.5.1.

I try to find the error.

But i guess my knowledge comes to an end here. Like many people i reverted to a normal working phone with normal updates several times using the above tutorial and returning to 1.1.3 EEA (use global if your phone was global before)

I can only tell you what works for others, we had a lot of trouble with this phone but fixed it the way i described.

Good Luck
