Ok guys...manage to solve the problem

Apparently this "screen filter"app that I am using is having a conflict with the installation from as card...damn weird but once I disable the app, it works....gonna email the developer about this bug...and again thanks to those who replied...appreciate it

Hi guys! I have the same problem - seems like every brightness control application in some way interferes with the other apps and I can't install APK files anymore.

I've tried Screen Filter, Dimmer (Night Mode), Brightness widget and nothing - if I install any of them I can't install APK from dropbox/sd card. Why is that so?!

My phone is LG L5 II and the minimum brightness is too bright, so I really need some kind of application, which controls the screen brightness.

What do you think? How can I have them both - brightness control app + working installation of APK files?

Agree! I had same problem. After reading above, app "Twilight" block install key.

Screen filter apps work by installing a layer, so to speak, on TOP of your viewable screen. This is NOT a bug, it is how it works. To resolve this issue just change your screen filter ( generally for low light environment and night viewing) to Chainfire's app, "CFlumen" and you're done.
