Apparently this app/windget is notorious for being unable to be removed. I'm rooted, is there a way to remove it aside from going through the Market (which doesn't work)?
Unable to remove/uninstall an App/widget "Lock Screen Widget". How can I?

So I have attempted this and I have had no luck.
As stated, I went to Settings, Location & Security, Select Device Administrators.
I arrived at the Device administrators page and the "Lock Screen Widget" box is checked. I click it, arrive at another menu, click deactivate, get a warning message to proceed, I click "OK." I then return to the same Device administrators page and the "Lock Screen Widget" box remains checked.
I do not know what to do. Any suggestions?
(My phone is not rooted and it is running 2.2.1) (edit: I know this is in the EVO 4G forum but I didn't want to start a new thread. I searched and this is what I found.)
