Unbranding Titan ASIA to Europe operator by ansar

im tried the gold card method without luck
im tried with custom made usb otg and a purchased otg but my titan don´t pass the screen entering usb host mode...

i have 2 sd cards one 2 gb sd and a 8 gb sdhc, tried partition with minitool but without luck...

any ideas?

Recreating Titan ROM directory

If it doesn't get past the USB HOST MODE screen, there is something wrong with the goldcard or cable.
For me, when the cable was good but the goldcard bad, I got "Loading..." but it never went any further.

When I was finally assured that I had the right CID (i used an android tablet and the goldcard tool would only read the onboard storage CID, not the removeable card - I used goldcard helper on the device itself in the end), I had to try two different female/female adapters with my OTG to get it work - some adapters are cross-over, some are straight -thru. You need straight thru.

I DID IT AS WELL!
I flashed the Taiwan ROM 1.10.709.01 into my EU (UK) Titan which I bought in Hong Kong. I did it because the Slider (ON/OFF) is missing in 'Settings/ease of access/Speech for phone accessibility', it only shown default value Off.

I bought : 1.) Y-Cable 2.) USB Adapter Female to Female (2 Pcs) 3.) One slot USB SD Card Reader

1. Use Android Tablet with 'Goldcard Helper' to get the CID for my 1gb Micro SD Card.
2. Reverse the CID number and go to http://psas.revskills.de/?q=goldcard to generate the GoldCard.
3. Use GoldCard Tool to load the GoldCard.img obtained and 'patch MMC' to Micro SD Card.
4. Rename the HTC Titan (Eternity) Rom file to ETERIMG.nbh and copy it into the Micro SD Card.
5. Plugged the Power supply USB of the Y-Cable to Computer
6. Connected the SD Card Reader with Micro SD card slotted in using one of the the USB adapter.
7. Connected the Mobile USB cable using the other USB Adapter to the last end of the Y-Cable.
8. Press (Vol down + camera + power) at the same time, to enter Bootloader Screen.
9. Plugged the other end of the Mobile USB Cable to Mobile (HTC Titan) and Flashing begins and wait until it shows Completed.

Hope this will help.

A bit odd...in your opening post you asked if anyone had problems flashing Asia or Euro ROMS...and when we share our successful experiences of doing just that, you tell us to make another thread?!?

Successfully unbranded AT&T Titan.

I'm not trying to hijack a thread and speak more on the goldcard method, but I just want to let you know that I was able to successfuly unbrand my AT&T Titan using a European rom with that method. Everything is functioning great!!

Yes, today I have successfully unbranded my HTC Titan. I made a Y cable and the goldcard with my Micro SD (you can find more info here). I have used this ROM IMG_Eternity_HTC_Europe_1.08.401.02_Radio_16.23.02.09_2_16.24.00.23U_Signed_ETERNITY_RELEASE (you can find it here) and I renamed it to ETERIMG.nbh and then pasted it to the root of the card. After that, you just have to wait and enjoy.

Succeeded from AT & T to Europe 401
