The attachment went wrong. Maybe now

Edit:
Maybe you can see my attachment, ican't i dont get why.
Anyways Miflash sends an error message saying ' can not found file flash_all.bat '
When i open the tar file the flash_all.bat file is there.
Make sure you selected the folder in the "browse tab" with the file flash_all.bat, flash_all_expect_storage.bat, etc.

I just managed to flash the firmware. :fingers-crossed: An old version of MiFlash from 2014 did the trick. Device is now up and running, i switched USB debugging on. Still, ADB won't recognise phone. I thought after turning debugging on, device will ask to authorize pc upon plugging it in. And ADB will recognise it when authorisation is done. But it won't pop up on phone so no possibility for authorisation.
Edit: i need ADB to get TWRP back.

I tried different things and (MiFlash) versions for my Pocophone F1, unf without any result. When I start flashing I see that it's flashing the file for about 3 a 4 seconds (see picture). After that I hear the Windows USB disconnect and connect sound. Then it says "ping target via firehorse".

After some seconds I get a "ping target failed" error...

Somebody:(?

Edit:
Some more information; Phone won't boot at all. Not 'normal', fastboot or recovery. Phone is only recognized in device manager as: Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008(COM#)

# = number of usb port it's connected too....

Try using older Mi Flash Tool or the beta ones, look it up on MIUI Forums

Fix found!

:)
I bricked my Poco F1 as my computer stopped responding while I was flashing miui 10 (actually downgrading from pixel experience to MIUI 10).
After trying out different different ROMs finally found MIUI 9 Global Stable 9.6.14.0 from
"https://romprovider.com/2018/09/poco-f1-firmware-support/"
and normally flashed this ROM with MiFlash ("https://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=attachment&aid=NjU5MzY0fGZkMzhkN2MzfDE0NjUzMTc4NjZ8NTQyOTQ4MzM5fDI4MTk3OQ%3D%3D")

Thanks this worked !

Hi,
Thanks to this post, I was able to save my phone from what I thought was a hard brick unsolvable by myself. Kudos to people like you, we still have the confidence to go on and experiment with our mobiles. This post was extremely well written and explained in detail. Thanks a ton again !

Some things id like to add here are :
1. Poco FASTBOOT software can be downloaded from here - xiaomifirmware . com this site has the latest and proper files
2. You need to use 7zip to extract the tgz file 2 times until you get folder structure. tgz-> unzip->tar->unzip->folder. Use this folder address in the mi flash tool.
3. Mi unlock and Mi Flash are different tools. You can find both in Mi forums.

Ok, so, maybe I shouldn't, but, I really, really want to thank you pal. If it wasn't for you I would be dead, man. I don't know if you'll see this, but I hope you do, because you deserve knowing you're my hero. Thanks

Wanna thank you for this post first. However I was unable to run the latest MiFlash due the error as seen on screenshot. (Windows 10)
No matter what I was trying to do, MiFlash was still asking to install drivers (including Nvidia drivers, wtf?)
USB drivers were installed correctly as I could see connected device with installed drivers and fastboot devices have also worked fine. I have done several reboots, windows test mode, but without success...

If anybody else is having same issue, I was able to use probably very old version of MiFlash to successfully flash fastboot MIUI image.

Poco F1 again operational :)
The solution is simple, create a new "log" subfolder under the MiFlash folder.

Hi, my poco f1 is not rooted, neither is the bootloader unlocked. will it be safe for me to flash the FASTBOOT software in my phone by using the MI flash tool?
The problem is my phone does not get detected in fastboot mode, so should i take the risk of flashing my phone because if something were to happen, i wouldn't even be able to recover it.
