Is your phone bricked?

have patience, the guys are working on advanced magic here... not so easy to make noob proof i belive.

Join the IRC and ask for help if you cant wait.
Will patiently wait for the magic to be released. Would've joined IRC but the instrcutions say you need to have a linux box and some basic efficiency in Linux to be able to contribute / test the alpha solution. Sadly I have neither.

Fingers crossed!

install wubi http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu/windows-installer
it's not really that complicated at all :)

the guide will have all the instructions.

once gain, this unbricking method will work for people that tried going s-on and bricked their phones. any other types of qhsusb_dload devices will probably have to go via jtag route. don't quote me on this though :)

if you pay, yes they will fix any type of brick. under warranty no...
i brought this phone rooted and s-off but i didn't want it , i wanted stock ,
i followed the s-on guide now its bricked after entering s-on command in fastboot.
would htc know if my phone has been s-off if it wont boot into hboot ? if i were to send in for warranty repair?
or any idea what htc would charge to fix this brick ? thanks in advance

ah ok so you bricked it using "oem write secure flag 3" we should be able to help you by replacing the unsecured hboot with a secure signed one which is what the phone is looking for and why it bricked when not present.

come onto irc for help..

oh lazy me... ;) don't feel like reading all the post atm, so I'll just ask it directly.

Does the phone have to actually be bricked into QHSUSB_DLOAD mode to be able to downgrade? I have been trying to S-OFF and root a friends Sensation but with no luck since revolutionary only supports HBOOT1.18 and the one on the phone is 1.27 and so far I haven't found any way of downgrading :( I'm not even sure that a HTCDev unlock would enable a HBOOT downgrade or root+S-OFF

thx in advance, oh and if there is already a way to get S-OFF and root on 1.27 please let me know! My ½ month googling and reading hasn't turned up anything :(

If your phone will boot u can still change firmware, just get older hboot firmware put on card to update partitions. Make sense?

There are guides on downgrading for people who want to go from ICS to GB

Prevent 100 year sleep for sensation

Hello,

you out there.
as my display has a little defect i have to sent my phone to my provider.
To prevent any problems with it's warranty i tried to go back to stock rom and to s-on.
All Steps worked, but after a reboot via adb it didn't wake up.

To prevent a 100 years lasting sleep for my sensation i tried everything in this thread to wake it up, but with no success.
I'm able to wake it into QHSUSB Mode but no possibility to connect it via adb or revolutionary. It is also possible to see the 42Mb Filesystem via Ubuntu.

Have you any idea to go on?

Thanks in Advance.
