But it still looks like this will take a while to be fully done.

Found.. thank you :)
Also I meant that I had contacted unrevoked on twitter who works with alpharev for revolutionary.

Mind posting the results if you get any feedback from them at all?:D

I don't think so cause robocik had 1.27 hboot. I believe it might involve htcdev unlock, flash modified misc.img to flash a an older hboot to forcefully cause a brick. Not really sure of the details really, bit that's how its done on evo3d. The whole flashing new hboot is tricky though as you have a split sec timeframe.

Well.. i spoke to some people in the irc channel, they told me that the old exploit to s-off the sensation is outdated, caus HTC corrected it. So the 2 guys that spoke to me didn't say if they were working or not on a new hboot exploit..

I also had a very interesting talk with unknownforce, the guy who wrote the thread about unbricking the Evo3D with this exact emmc method, and i understood this process can be risky for our phones. He made a very very clear guide in the evo3d forums, and i really really hope there will be soon one here in the sensation forums, so that all the people that have updated (silly me) the s-on hboot to 1.27.0000 or have hboot versions that are not compatible with revolutionary.io, will be able to s-off :)

Oh no I'm not bricked. But if you can and are bricked but able to go into fastboot. Try htcdev unlock, flash custom recovery than flash ics Rom.

Edit: nevermind you said stock Rom only works.

That's odd , I've done exactly what you have but all gingerbread roms work for me and android 4.01 roms not 4.03 though. Are you flashing the boot.img file? Extract the Tom on your computer and you will see a file that says boot, put it in the same folder as the advanced and fastboot. Right click the main advanced folder and have your phone connected to the computer in hboot. Then press fastboot. Above the options it should say fastboot USB in red. Then open the cmd of the advanced folder and type
Fastboot flash boot boot.img
Then type fastboot reboot.

Hey guys I don't know if this helps with unbricking or not but I updated the gingerbread package on the firmware thread.

It is now the entire stock 1.45 gingerbread bootloader files and i also extracted and added revolutionary hboot 1.17.1111 so no more engineering hboot as the only option.

I hope this helps in some way :)

thanks mate. i keep meaning to ask you, downgrading from hboot 1.27 is it possible, as in just a case of doing update through p58xxxx.zip? and will an S-on phone take a p58xxx.zi update?
