Asus padfone 2 hqsusb_dload

Hi guys, I know this thread is for HTC devices only, however I ask for permission to someone that maybe can help us (padfone 2 owners) that are facing the same problem as yours, the famous HQSUSB_DLOAD.

I opened a thread relating all the case but nobody answers it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39928058

Does anybody know if there is a method to revive this device ASUS PadFone 2?

Touchpad (hp) owners have a way to unbrick their phones. Rootzwiki has a thread dedicated to this subject. I'd contact the creator of that software and see if he could help you. you could also try talking to a xda member darkspr1te. Great guy.

Is there any other smaller Live CDs that will work for this procedure? I'm having difficulty downloading the 500MB+ PHToolz live cd.

Cheers
Any Ubuntu distro except 11.x will do. Other distros might work too

I managed to download the PHToolz image, but alas couldn't get the procedure to work on either my desktop on MacBook Pro.

Both machines show the Qualcomm QHSUSB_DLOAD device in Windows and Linux, but I get the not detected error when running brickdetect.

Hi,
i bricked my sensation by writing security flag 3. Before this i had unlocked hboot 1.27 by wire-trick and "Stock" detoxed ROM from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1529941 . Method from this thread work for me and i unbrick my phone but now can't install any RUU because fastboot return version-main: 9.99.999.999 .... . What I should do? I'm stuck on locked hboot 1.27 and version-main: 9.99.999.999 :(

Wtf?can you verify it by running
Code:
fastboot getvar all
The mainver should be there. If it is 9.99.999.999 and you are s-on, no ruu can be flashed. In that case, you'll need to jtag it

Goldcard bypasses CID check, not mainver. No way to get anything other to flash than something with 9.99.999.9 mainver while s-on

Then as long as he is rooted he can change his main version ;) using the old misc version guides i did it the other day when my main version went over 4 somthing. it can be done but he needs to be rooted
