Hallo friends, its great to find thread for noobs...
I am a bit desperate - can not find answer for my questions. I have alcatel idol x plus, which was bricked - originally not my so don`t know exactly what happenned but sudenly stucked in bootloop. The only think I can do is to get to recovery menu. The cache partition with rom does not exist, the sd card slot is not present. The problem is that only way how to load new rom to device is with adb sideload. The only stock rom I found was one, that is loaded by spl flast tool, which is unzipped one. And the only rom, that should be loaded by adb sideload shoud be zipped.
So my questions are:
1] IF I want to load rom using adb sideload, could i used that one rom which is ready for sp flas tool and load it file by file, or zipped, or I should not use this?
2] is it possible to use sp flash tool to upload new rom to bricked device or tha one which is just in recovery menu?
3] what is the difference betwen .ZIPped rom and that one which is divided to many files and uses scatter loading file?

thanks for advice and response in advance, sorrz for my English...
