good news :)
can phone come to life :)
service somehow repairs, damage to software and not hardware ...
remains to wait :)
Do you know anyone with a software-repaired xt890 after "Service required"?
As far as I know they change motherboards in such cases.

Repair "service required" requires replacement motherboard?
Surely damaged is software not hardware, if it's true it's probably a joke :D
But I hope you will be able to fix it yourself ... we have to wait :)
Of course! But to fix it the information at the eMMC should be changed(reflashed) and it requires soldering, very accurate.
And it's cheaper for Moto to replace a whole motherboard. At last, it was so. Maybe now, they have no new motherboards and the situation has changed.

Hey ppl i have 2 mb one with bad imei and the other with the damm msg at the start, is there any way to extract one imei to the other, or try to flash the rom using one of the 2 boards? so both can start?, what happened? i got the razr i bricked, then i bought a board for about 20dls but it came with bad imei so i cant use it, if it was there anyway of traspasing the rom to the bad board bricked but keeping my imei, would be great, or maybe soldering some parts from 1 board to the other? i dont know im giving any crazy ideas i get on my mind, i dont have acces to the datasheet of this board, so i dont know what piece is of what.

If you use "xFSTK-SoC-Driver-Setup" and "unbrick.bat" to "Unbrick your phone, and you got the "Service code corrupt" error..., This method is untested but i think it is the problem...
You need This:
  • Original ICS FIRMWARE that come with your phone.
  • xFSTK-SoC-Driver-Setup Installed (read How Install "xFSTK-SoC-Driver-Setup")
  • Unbrick.bat and respective folders.
  • Motorola Handset USB Drivers (x86 or x64).
  • ADB/ FASTBOOT or SDK.

Steps to revive:
  • Extract Unbrick.zip in "C:\atomSOC"
  • Go to unbrick folder. "C:\atomSOC\unbrick"
  • Go to your firmware folder and copy this files (dnx; ifwi)
  • Replace this files in "C:\atomSOC\unbrick".
  • Press CAMERA button and Plug in the USB to your phone (MEDFIELD FLASH)
  • Run unbrick.bat in "C:\atomSOC"

How Install "xFSTK-SoC-Driver-Setup":
  • Run Setup
  • When Say "Intel Soc Is about to begin" Click OK
  • When Say "In Order to Complete (...) Will a device be attached (...)" Press Yes.
  • When Say "Step 1 (...)" Plug In your USB Cable to the pc. and click ok
  • When Say "Step 2 (...)" Press CAMERA button and Plug in the USB to your phone (MEDFIELD FLASH)

¿How know if my phone go to the medfield flash method?
release the camera button, your phone will stay in a black screen with the green led.
And your pc says "New hardware recognized"
Name of hardware: MEDFIELD
Before the driver install:

Downloads:
Unbrick.bat + xFSTK-SoC-Driver-Setup Download
If it works.. please, let me know
Nope, I get the numbers and then phone vibrates and go's to Service required screen again

For me, the process started normally, but I can see only dots... after a while (60 seconds), my razr i turn off and enter in "medfield" mode again without unbrick. Can someone help me? I'm using CM11 (KK 4.4.).
