Should I get the Tablet S or wait for thier quad-core tablet? Kinda on the fence here. All thoughts appreciated.

If you're concerned about the S not being fast enough, don't worry about it; it's fast.
Mostly it depends what you're looking for and what you want to do with it. I love my S for the week+ that I've owned it and now that we have access to the PS Store I'm even more excited. The screen is perfect, resolution is great, sensitivity is good, design and feel are also pretty good. I don't like that it's difficult to incorporate an SDCard cause they want you to use internal storage or whatever, but it's not a big deal. I'm certainly never frustrated with performance.
I'm also fairly certain that this'll get an Ice Cream Sandwich update soon after it's available, so I'm pretty happy with the longevity potential with the tablet S.

Thanks for your input. The speed difference of dualcore and quadcore isn't that much of factor. Personally, I used a family member quad core pc, and for some reason, it seemed slower than my dualcore pc (not sure y, prolly bias). I'm more concerned about them releasing a new tablet in the not so distant future being released with better specs and them forgetting about the Tablet S. But that doesn't seem to be the case. Thxs again.

Yeah, glad I could help. There is a lot more to take into consideration than just dual/quad core as far as speed is concerned. Of course Sony will come out with another tablet, maybe even for Christmas, but that doesn't mean they'll abandon the S.

Been using tablet s since it came out and definitely recommend it...beautiful form factor, really quick plus I just love all the addons that sony put in, like remote control, music and video unlimited, reader etc...at the end of the day should just go out there n try different models for your needs but I feel that this is one of the best out there...compared to a friends asus transformer n anothers galaxy tab, the sony tablet just feels...special...plus its really really good to hold, much better than the thin tablets out there that seem to cut into your hand.
The only thing I hate is that whenever someone sees me using it they always ask me how many gigs my ipad is....grrrr...

Thanks for your input. I went to a near by BestBuy and tried the different tablets and I fell in love ( so to speak ) with the tablet S. To me, it seems Sony did a better job on customizing their tablet than the others. LOL, how can people mistake it for an iPad?

Imo if want an android tablet, Sony is the way to go...it isnt perfect and sony has some fixes that are necessary as well as some annoyances (sony reader opening in landscape and not being able to use portrait mode until you actually open a book) but it is the best choice.
