I am looking for an under counter kitchen mount that will work with the Sony Tablet S. I am finding that I don't use it as much as I thought I would and would love to let my wife use it in the kitchen for recipes/music, etc. (Will be getting an Intel Ultrabook when Windows 8 is released) Has anyone seen or done this or have any ideas?
I doubt you will find anything ready-made; you'll need to construct a mount yourself. You could construct something ugly using wood or metal, but for something nice looking I recommend using Lexan which can be cut and glued or better yet, heated and formed/bent. You can find articles for working with Lexan on the
Intructables web site. Otherwise and of course simpler and easier, you could use Sony's cradle for the Tablet S as a countertop mount. Good luck.
Regarding your decision on Windows 8, I regret reading that. You would be much better off choosing Windows 7 then waiting for Microsoft's next version of Windows. Windows 8 is fated to follow the same path of failure as did Windows 95, ME, and Vista.
