i try to understand the things about firmware and installation of custom ROMs and other OSes.
The firmware contains the drivers for the hardware, isn't it?
But the firmware also contains the version of android itself, right?
After that i can customize the installed firmware with Android with for example LineageOS or paranoidandroid, isn't it?
If i format and wipe all the data, i delete the android, but not all drivers, because i can set the phone to fastboot or flash mode.
