unfortunately, flipboard has stopped

I am getting the error message, "unfortunately, flipboard has stopped" after the 5.01 update. I have tried the obvious things like wiping Cache in recovery, uninstalling the app, but I am still having the same issues. I have tried uninstalling it and using the stock one from the phone which will not load, I have tried updating from the Galaxy app as well as the Google Play store, same results.
