Got my Mate 20 Pro dual SIm version. Have an EE SIM as primary network.

I am about to order the green version from mobiles.co.uk or vodafone. Just want to ask is the UK version still single sim like p20pro or it differs from where you buy it?

I get a WiFi icon. And if that is turned off, I get an icon representing the type of network e.g. H+. Also have an EE icon too
So does no one know how to avoid Three installing their splash screen when I insert their SIM?

I got mine from Three UK and its dual sim, I have a 3 AYCE data post pay sim and a Vodafone PAYG sim in it as SIM2.
My claim for the watch and charger was approved and validated on the 12th Nov. Seems that others in the UK have already had theirs? Anyone else still waiting for DX delivery info?
And does the phone have the 3 splash screen during bootup?
It does now as installed 3's version of the firmware after installing their sim first, I did read if you install an EE SIM first it won't install the 3 splash screen but tbh it doesn't bother me as I've been with them over 10 years and use them mainly as data speeds very good around here.
It doesn’t until you put a Three SIM in it. You then get some updates which I assume one of is that logo. I asked a few posts back if anyone knew how to avoid getting that splash screen installed. But seems no one has that answer.
After putting a 3 SIMm had the splash logo. A hard reset removed it though.
one thing i've not managed to do on either my mate 10 pro or p20 pro - both have the hideous 3 logo
Had mine validated on 11/11. Status still seems to be sent for fulfilment.. Heard nothing since..

got mine validation on the 9th and still nothing, UK.
I was aware of this issue with customers firmware when I had p20.
When I vote mate 20 on three I set the phone up without a SIM in it at first.
When I did put my SIM in it said I then had an update but this was just for carrier settings. I've chosen not to install as the phone works fine for calls and messages and internet etc.
As such I do not have any of the bloat ware or splash screen.
I do still keep getting a reminder though saying an update is ready to install. I'd like to try and find a way to delete that if anyone knows.
