Just got my replacement unit & it had the original stickers on the back but the box wasn't sealed. I was told when I rang up Huawei I would get a brand new replacement.

So I am taking it that's wheat I have got. How can we tell if it's a refurbished unit?
If you got a non sealed box, that means its refurbished. Very bad customer support from Huawei.

I spoke with their service provider - SBE - were they confirmed the devices are refurbished. When i asked why, i was told this is what Huawei does.

Wow That's bad.

My unit looks like a new one. All the back stickers where on.

As long as the screen is perfect I can live with it. Just won't be buying an Huawei again.

If you haven't had the phone long you're ent3to a brand new replacement not a refurbished unit.

I would be complaining as in reality you are being supplied with a 2nd hand unit in place of a brand new unit, which is unacceptable

I had the phone for less than a week. This is very disappointing.

If in UK then refuse the item stating that this is a second hand unit and under CRA2015 you demand a brand new replacement of which you are entitled to as you have purchased a brand new item that was faulty and you will not accept a refurbished item as a replacement.

If they refuse state the CRA2015 act and if they are not willing to replace for new the contract becomes null and void and you want all monies paid back in full and any contract plans cancelled without cost to you.

Thanks for that. I will consider it.
