Universal Car Holder for Desire HD?

Been looking for a universal car holder for a long time, don't want any mobile or car specific solution as in past 10 months have changed three mobiles (iphone => desire => desire HD) and three cars (Civic => Corolla => Accord)
So Bordit won't work for me.

I've short listed following, could you guys share your experience? Thanks

1) Dash Genie In Car Holder v2

3) Clingo Universal In Car Holder

I had one BRODIT for HD2, that was extremelly good. going to buy other, since this has a slight difference for the charging position.

does it charge as well? and how easy is to put and remove the phone from the holder?

does it leave stickyness on the phone? how long you've been using Clingo? i read somewhere after few weeks use the stickyness doesn't hold the phone that well.
