Hi, I tried the Method 2) with my Wileyfox Spark + (Android 7.0, Build TNS317K-NBD92G), Kernel 3.18.35+, and when I type

./psneuter

I get the following error message.

This guide is dead. It was published in the glory days of Lollipop, and we are far past that now. I don't see this method working for API 23+.

Why use nautilus to copy files is there other way?
I tried 2 different devices (Huawei Mate 7 and Lenovo Yoga 3). /system did not appear in nautilus. Am I doing something wrong?

I own an ADV device made with an MTK 6735M SOC.
I've tried both of your method to no avail.
The first one use a 32 bit "su" binary alas my phone is 64 bits. Add to this that I can't see the "system" directory in the Root nautilus so can't copy the binaries to the system/bin directory.
The messages I get are :

CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE: "/system/lib/libc++.so" is 32-bit instead of 64-bit

And the second method does not work either because I get these messages (perhaps the exploit has been covered or the binary is not 64 bits, either ?) :

What about flashing again custom rom? and what is the incovenients of losing warranty? does stock rom restore the ability to install the new official rom updates without computer? and does losing warranty stop your phone to be updated automaticly ? what is your opinion about rooting a new phone such galaxy note 5 , does developers think about adding android oreo to it ? recovery : works
factory mode: works

thats was it, nothing more works

why is the homtom ht20 pro so guardian locked
no one of app or apk on pc or on smartphone works
it say not rootable or says no unlockable
or says to solid to root

please help i want put in my android-smartphone supersu and titanium backup

so the era of rooting android without twrp or other custom recovery is ended?
You are telling us in like 2016-2018 to root our android devices that 21% now are over , with kingroot? It appears now you can't your android over 4.2.2 without flashing a custom recovery? i really need an universal method, there are plenty of unfamous phones that still until now not rooted...please if you are reading this, can you suggest an other method that root your phone universaly?

there is no proper guide on the internet that tells me how to manually root ,WITHOUT a program like kingoroot , my android device. I just want to root it old fashioned with terminal and all. i feel like thats the safest way for your privacy.
