Ok let me see if I can help you. You should do this on windows though.
1. Make sure you have the latest version of Android SDK
2. Make sure you don't use the LMobile driver (it will show up on device manager). You need to have the Google LLC drivers
3. Make sure USB debugging is enabled
4. Run without quotes "adb reboot edl"
After that the device should get a black screen, and if that happens you are successful, when on EDL mode you won't see anything on the phone screen.
5. Just to make sure, open device manager. You should see something like the image.
Now you can open QPST and try out what I told you yesterday.
If these commands didn't work you can try "fastboot oem edl", "fastboot reboot-edl", "
fastboot reboot edl". FOr these ones you should have the phone in recovery mode though.
