Hello.
Has anyone tried to use this unlock method with android 13.
I have a pixel 4xl locked to Verizon and I tried this method but it is not working.
Any help will be appretiated.
What carrier though? If it's Verizon, no bones for you today, this puppy ain't getting modded. Will this work with Pixel 7? I am trying to switch to a custom ROM but my carrier is blocking it, is an unlockable bootloader possible? I don't need the SIM Unlock.
AT&T and it is getting paid via Trade Credits so I need hopeWhat carrier though? If it's Verizon, no bones for you today, this puppy ain't getting modded.
Thank you this actually worked, needless to say it is a temporary solution but still a solution, I will never buy a Verizon phone ever again, they seriously go out of their way to screw their customers over, despite the stupid phone no longer being in a contract with them.
What's the SIM?Hello,
I have a pixel 6 and am looking to root my phone (pixel 6 - android 13) to reinstall a clean version.
Indeed it is in MDM so impossible to unlock the OEM from developer mode, Impossible to execute adb commands such as fastboot flashing unlock. Recovery or factory reset does not change anything either and the phone always resets every 2 hours.
Also it has the December 2022 update which no longer allows removing the oobconfig (protected) package.
Is there any other way to root the phone, maybe someone has found a solution now ?
NB: the SIM works.
Thank you so much !
Do you know how he made it work? His earlier post was saying Dec security patch locked everything and he couldn't get it work.

My phone doesn't reset every 2 hours...Hello,
Strangely the SIM works very well and I did nothing in particular. However, this remains problematic since the phone resets every 2 hours and I do not have sufficient rights for enable OEM unlocking and unlock the bootloader
Maybe it is MDM version not Carrier lock version.Điện thoại của tôi không thiết lập lại sau 2 giờ...
Kỳ thật, đó là vấn đề gì vậy?
Oh maybe why.
thanks so much, this work perfectly for meI solved this with a third party app called Netguard, went to advance settings and allowed system apps. Look for device setup app in netguard and block it from wifi. You can now connect to any wifi without changing anything .

You can now connect to any wifi without changing anything .I wonder if there is a way to block the network requests (on the device itself or perhaps on my router) that Device Setup makes if the metered option is disabled. The biggest issue with metered Wifi that I've come across so far is that the Play Store won't install apps unless you manually install them each individually. And with a new device/copy setup, that is a lot of apps!
