On that page (androidhost.ru) I can't find EMUI 8.0.xxx. I was only able to find 8.1.xxx.
WIll it work? If not - where I can find suitable soft for my phone?

Don't try this method, it will brick your phone! (Kirin 710). Btw, Mate 20 lite was launched with EMUI 8.2 (Based on Android 8.1) on board , ergo 8.0.0. soft for SNE-LX1 doesn't exist.

So looks like, I will not be able to get ROOT on my Mate 20 Lite - I really want to ROOT my phone, because of Android Auto features - especially AA Mirror.
Propably it's time to switch to another phone.

If I'm not mistaken, this method work with Kirin chipset only, Honor DUA-AL00 is running on a MediaTek chipset.
Damaged ZIP file
Hi,
I managed to download said file from androidhost.ru. Yet the package I'm interested in (ANE-L01_hw_eu) is corrupted. I have tried extracting the other 2 zip files embedded in the download and they extract just fine but not for the phone I want. Is there maybe someone with a working firmware stored somewhere I can download from please? I currently have ANE-LX1 8.0.0.145(C432) installed and from what I've read here the patch version needed is below 2018 June. I have 2018 July installed.
On a side note I had lot's of trouble just downloading the firmware off from androidhost.ru server. Through a browser it just stops after a couple of minutes and through JDownloader I had to restart JDownloader multiple times over a 2 day period as it would also stop with an error whilst downloading.
EDIT: I have managed to download another firmware update from a different site but it is not in the needed format as on the androidhost.ru server. As shown in the screenshot there are the contents of the normal ROM files, which is not in the (dload folder) same format.

UNLOCK HUAWEI DEVICES RUNNING EMUI 8 JUNE PATCH OR LOWER
You can upgrade to EMUI 9.1 and have unlock bootloader too, but in order to do that you will need set a custom code which will be later in the guide
!!!!! NOTE: IF YOU HAVE KIRIN 990/970/980/710/810 THIS WILL BRICK THE DEVICE INSTEAD SO IF YOU HAVE THAT SOC PLEASE DO NOT TRY !!!!!!!
If you're device is on EMUI 9.1 you will have to downgrade to 8, to downgrade use hisuite but if you do not get "Switch To Older Version" button, Downgrade to an older EMUI 9.1 build, to downgrade you will need a micro sd card, download the firmware from androidhost.ru and extract the firmware then go to the folder named "Software" you should see a dload folder, copy that onto your sd card, then slot it onto your device, to flash the firmware, power off your phone, press and hold all 3 keys then a firmware should be installing, if you get incompatibilty with current version error, thats becuase you can't downgrade to EMUI 8 just yet, once u installed an older version of EMUI 9.1 , it is time to downgrade to EMUI 8, go to hisuite select update, then once it detects a new update click on older version, select that and it should begin the process of downgrading to EMUI 8, however you are still not done with downgrading, you need to flash a patch that is june 2018 or lower, flash ANE-LX1 8.0.0.144C432 which you can find on androidhost.ru, same method, once you have finally downgraded, its time to request a slock to flash TWRP, to request a slock please go to the @huaweihax channel on telegram and join the Big Huawei Exploits Group which is linked here: https://t.me/joinchat/GV4hI0XZ93LSq0CUrbd9GQ make sure you follow this else you will get punished onto the group, and please do not send it here else you will be warned, now its time to send the following infos to get your slock:
- Device FBLOCK
- Device Model
- Device ProductVer
- Device SN (serial number)
- Last 4 numbers of IMEI1
To retrieve this values, please use the following commands individually:
For FBLOCK, run: fastboot oem hwdog certify begin and copy the FBLOCK value.
For Model, run: fastboot oem get-product-model and copy the device model value.
For ProductVer, run: fastboot oem get-build-number
For SN, copy the SN value from the box of the device or through device settings, if you cannot find it, open your dialer and write #06# and copy the SN value.
For IMEI1, copy the last 4 digits of the IMEI of the SIM tray #1 (IMEI1).
ALWAYS SEND THE #slock_request hashtag on the beginning of every request.
A correct request would be the following:

Once you have gotten you're slock file, its time to flash it, fastboot flash slock <slock file>.bin
You're device is now temp unlocked, however we need to permenantly unlock it, to do that we need to flash TWRP

To flash it, do fastboot flash erecovery_ramdisk <twrp-filename>.img
Now reboot onto it, to do it, make sure you're device is plugged in and hold the vol up key + power, once you done that you will need to flash 2 files, first flash the file which will perm unlock your device, next the file which will set you a custom bootloader code

First flash the NVME.ZIP in order to do that you will need to flash it 4 times due to safety, if twrp reboots, you have done it successfully, then flash the custom bootloader file, reboot the device

you will need too, download HUAWEI Update Extractor https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433454
then extract the update_sd inside the dload folder, inside the EMUI 8 Firmware, you should see an UPDATE.APP extract that using "Huawei Update Extractor" then get the ERECOVERY_RAMDISK using the program, then get the .img one and reboot into fastboot mode, do fastboot flash erecovery_ramdisk ERECOVERY_RAMDIS.img and flash TWRP onto RECOVERY_RAMDISK, now its time to update to EMUI 9.1 and unlock the bootloader using the code we changed too, we can use dload method, or update using settings, once we have that you're bootloader will be now unlocked, and to unlock it do fastboot oem unlock TishSerg_For4pda select yes on the device and the device will now factory reset
