Unlock bootloader in linux

I have just bought the redmi note 5 pro but have not yet recieved it.
Can I use the unlocking program in linux with wine or maybe run windows in a vm and unlock it thought there? Thx in advance.

I use ArchLinux.
VirtualBox and Windows 7 x64, work fine.
