hi,when mine support or have other way to root i try UnlockBL but it show
The entered device information (model, IMEI, Device-ID) is correct. However, your device(Singapore, (ARROW(SINGAPORE)) )does not support unlocking the bootloader.
any Idea ?
Great guide, but one question. Once the bootloader is unlocked, why do we have to 'boot' the recovery image, root, install flashify and THEN flash the recovery? can't we just flash the recovery on fasboot? I'm a nexus user and I'm used to that, and I don't know if there is any problem trying to do "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img" like usual here....
Once you have rebooted into the OS you will find the SuperSu app. Download the TWRP manager just to have it handy. And now i would install the TWRP file you have copied on your phone with flashify. I think it's a great tool.
2 ways to do it:
1. locate the file, click on it and choose to open with flashify then choose recovery and follow the steps
2. find the file via flashify and install.
(Don't download TWRP for H815 in the TWRP manager or Flashify as they are not fixed by @wolfgart (correct me if I am wrong))
once all this done and rebooted. Your phone will have TWRP and would be Rooted. Choose the TWRP manager to boot into recovery when you want.
I preferred to reboot the phone every time just to be sure...
If you have any comments, or i wrote something wrong, don't hesitate to correct me.

Does it say waiting for device after you did the cmd: adb reboot bootloader?Hi all, 'ive done all right i think but when i "ask" the device ID via cmd i always get stuck in "waiting for device".
Now:
i have italian phone brand Vodafone
i flashed with flashtool the poland no brand v10d, all ok
i installed driver adb etc, including the lg bridge (i've read someone solved installing it)
But, nothing, always waiting for device.. Can someone help me?![]()
i've solved!Does it say waiting for device after you did the cmd: adb reboot bootloader?
If so, go to control panel and device manager.. There you should see when you scroll down a bit: android with a yellow triangle. Right click and update driver, select from your pc and select from the list.. You should choose something with bootloader.
Now if its still stuck on waiting, restart your phone and re-open cmd.. Try it again and it should work.

Yep you're quite right. I think this guide is a little convoluted unfortunately, but thanks for the effort.Great guide, but one question. It would be way faster:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot reboot recovery
<flash su>
done
Hi @RusherDude did you find the way to manage that? i've the same quesiton right nowGreat guide, but one question. I don't actually have the phone, I was just checking how to do stuff on this version deciding if I should get this or the 5X, and I'm still doubting lol..Does anyone know if the command: fastboot flash recovery twrp.img works in G4?? i prefer to do it directly from fastboot command, instead of just rooting and then re do with flashify

Yes, it works, when the bootloader is unlocked. ...and you can immediately root through TWRP after installing it.Does anyone know if the command: fastboot flash recovery twrp.img works in G4?? i prefer to do it directly from fastboot command, instead of just rooting and then re do with flashify
