Unlock bootloader without any bugs [Official method by ASUS]

On my zenfone 5 model worked perfectly. What's you model ? also T00J ?

It worked perfectly on yours? It's very likely that your device doesn't even encounter the freezing issue. If your phone encounters the problem, no bootloader unlock method out there would work. It WILL work "perfectly" for any device that doesn't already have the issue.

My bootloader unlocks fine, biut when I'm in unlocked state, my phone freezes every time.

you use android 5.0, right? this unlock is only for kitkat asus DIDNT release any official unlock for lollipop

Hi there,
I want to share with you a bootloader unlock method that worked perfectly for me.

STEPS:

• Download official stock kitkat rom: ROM
• Extract boot, fastboot and recovery from it and flash them from fastboot then flash the rom
• Download official Asus tool for unlocking bootloader: TOOL
• Install it and follow the procedure

If all goes fine when you switch on the phone the background behind the Asus logo is white instead of black.

It's easy and maybe a "stupid" method but it worked on my Zenfone 5 T00J.
The firmware listed in this topic is the only for me that allowed to use correctly the unlocking bl app.

If there are problems, I'm available :good:

No, you unlock the bootloader with kitkat, and after you are able to install the rom that you want, for exemple I m on custom stock lollipop rom with custom kernel and I don't have any bugs

WTf, if you update your rom after unlock, your booloader will relock itself.....

yes, custom rom will not relock your bootloader, but stock will, beacuse it have iwfi and fastboot files

Today i flash kk40.54 with twrp but i forgot lock bootloader.. on kk40.54 i used tool official but freeze, i try to lock bootloader but can't lock
