how is omni on this phone?

I highly recommended it if you have an unlocked bootloader, works great with Magisk (only using Magisk for LKT though: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/xz-lxt-1-0-insane-battery-life-12h-sot-t3700688 ) and the camera is the best I've used (there's some lag on mode switch, but given that the Huawei camera app behaves strangely on custom ROMs this one is fine). Note that I use the included camera, not one from Magisk or elsewhere. Battery live is great (exceeding 6h SoT constantly), (since this is clean AOSP) my apps don't get killed at random, and they can now show scheduled notification and such (the main reason I've dropped EMUi in the first place).

It should work pretty well. Camera is always troublesome, though - Huawei pulled some dumb with the camera HALs and the stock camera app, so there are various issues there.

For what it's worth, MHA is one of my primary development targets for the OmniROM builds, since that's one of the 2 devices I've got for testing them out on currently.

Hisuite should be able to do the downgrade.

yep it did i downgraded unlocked the bootloader and installed open kirin

How did you unlock it?

bought credits at dc unlocker used their tool it, spit out the code then did the unlock command with fastboot

you are so lucky still be able to downgrade ,i guess im stuck with locked bootloader forever , or im gonna just sell this phone.

what is your build number? i used hisuite it offered other version and downgraded me then i actualy used upgrade on phone itself and then ran their software and it fished out my key

Im already in .378 build. No way to downgrade atm(or ever)
