Again Funkyhuawei is trying to create a "richness" with selling oem unlock codes. DO NOT BUY FOR THEM, search for imei services 40$-50$ you will get your OEM code for ABOOT. What funky do simply try to rob as much money as possible. Search for alternatives there are a many now. If you were following the huawei topics you will see they are going to move forward to opensource, so big pain for funky huawei they will be no longer able to rob people....

To be fair, being expensive does not make them a scam. The price their service as they see fit and it's up to you to pay it or not. I bought the service for my mate 10 Pro and got value out of it. I would not pay the asking price for an unlock for my Mate 20 Pro as I think it's overpriced but if I really needed it and they were the only kid on the block I probably would.

Charging three times what everyone else does is a scam in my opinion.

That's kinda where we differ on the definition of what a scam is. Pay cash, get service, not a scam. Pay cash, don't get service, scam.. pricing is really what people are willing to pay.. no one pays, price tends to come down.. Either way I have no skin in the game I just passed comment as I thought it was unfair to label them a scam when ive yet to hear of them not provide something paid for or refund something when it's not possible to provide it like bootloader codes on demand and outside these random windows we are seeing.

I remember funky first humble days and sadly users ****ed it up for everyone.

So many abusers in the early days before the credit system. I understand why he did it.

I believe it's overpriced though. I don't mind Huawei devices. They're one of the few that handled my flashaholics days.
