Well this is the wrong thread for asking that. Why not search. For which varient you have which is not listed. And yes almost all varients have root.
By the way the mechanic thing was more me pissed off and rambling if u didnt like it dont comment on it. I have been on here a while and i normally wont jump on no one but if u dont have something productive to say then keep not reading at least im giving some kind of input not critisizing others

I read a post about Push Ghost Virus two months ago
And they said that Push Ghost can Root some android firmware and make a bug on kernel
Maybe it can help us to root or unlock bootloader

Share the petition in an attempt to put more pressure on LG?
Hope that at least something comes out of it within a few weeks?

Because that's all I can come up with, aside from trading another phone in for an EU H815, coming from a guy who uses a TWN H815, after his EU one broke.

My wife shared it on her facebook. plus she signed and she dont know the first thing about a computer let alone a bootloader unlock lol. She just sits there while i ramble on like uh huh yup

I think we're at the point where we really want to put so much pressure on the LG developers so that they'll seriously consider unlocking other G4s.

I'm still remaining somewhat optimistic, though the reps on the forums have stopped responding to the onslaught of bootloader unlock requests on LG Dev. Too much for them? Or have they changed their mind?

I think personally in the end we represent such a small portion of lgs sales that we really dont matter to them. only way for our voice to really be heard is major advertisement. Face book twiiter and so on. I think and believe in the end if we ever get unlocked which i think itll be like g2 and g3 never were really unlocked. Just found holes in their sercurity which was patched quite well. Bump and loki. Were only work arounds not official. But if people can hack the goverment hack credit cards and while back sony psn got it bad. I feel eventually somthing will happen. But on another note there are plenty of devices out there with abaolutly no unlock and no development because of

And does reboot my device in an attempt to get into fast boot the tool also offers the option to unlock. Bit i havnt tried yet so i dont know the end results. I have been looking into a few things about the locked loaders and its not the loader where really up against. Its the 256 bit encryption i think it said the boot loader partitions have on them. Similar to the ecrypted sd card options. Which i guess is also nearly impossible to break

I don't think the WinDroid unlock works on the G4.

My assumption is that LG uses a different identifier and key and as such, only really works with a specific unlock key, like the one on LG's official unlock tool.

There may be another unofficial unlock tool on its way since the one on LGViet seems to have stalled in progress with no other alternative on its way. That is, unless LG opens it up to more G4 variants when they consider that petition.
