[UNLOCK] Sign to petition to unlock bootloader on all G4 devices

That's why I'm hoping LG thinks about the petition.

It might not do much but hopefully, it gets our voices heard.

Remember, the H811 got an unlocked bootloader in Marshmallow. We might represent a small nibble of LG's pie, but we tend to be the loudest, especially since we're the ones who usually recommend lesser-known brands to others. LG can either ignore us and lose some customers (not ideal as their sales are still down) or consider the requests made by more than 3050 people (yes, there's way more out there who want a bootloader unlock on their G4s)

Same here, though the chances are kinda slim, as is the case with many OEMs.

Still remaining optimistic, though. Hope the petition makes our voices heard.

I don't think the WinDroid unlock works on the G4.

My assumption is that LG uses a different identifier and key and as such, only really works with a specific unlock key, like the one on LG's official unlock tool.

There may be another unofficial unlock tool on its way since the one on LGViet seems to have stalled in progress with no other alternative on its way. That is, unless LG opens it up to more G4 variants when they consider that petition.

Of coarse it asks for model i click g4. It dont say specifically eu model. Just g4 in gen. But i know its not gonna work just frantic helpfulness

If it worked, we wouldn't need that petition.
At least my G4 still performs quite well on the stock ROM. The main reason I want to slap CM13 is to get rid of that eyesore of a UX. Way too many bright areas.

I'm still hoping for LG to consider our petition. Slim chances, but I'm still optimistic.

Yes
Just type fastboot oem unlock in the fastboot mode and nexus will unlock

Not much we can do other than sign the petition and add money to the Bounty for an unofficial bootloader unlock. Not sure if everyone is taking that seriously but I saw someone added 10k to it. I hope it was serious that would be a good incentive for the unlock.

Very upset with what LG did with the device. I signed the petition i hope they can review and change their protocols with this matter.
