hello i try to unlock bootloader using this tutorial :

But dont work to me:
ending 'unlocktoken' (0 KB) ...
OKAY [0.156s]
writing 'unlocktoken' ...
FAILED (remote: unlock token check
failed)

Can i try this tutorial or not?

There is a difference between HTCUnlock and S-Off. S-Off means there are absolutely NO limitations on what yu can do to your device, for good and bad (allows you to flash firmware and other protected partitions, which can brick the phone). Whereas HTCUnlock just opens the parts needed for ROM flashing (System, boot and recovery). Most users don't even need S-Off.

There is another guide in the general forum for HTCUnlock, but it's basically the same as what you tried. maybe you gave the wrong details about your device? I suggest you try again, and if that doesn't work, try S-Off.

Have you gotten your motherboard changed before? And yes, you can try the s-off guide by ganeshp.

Since your motherboard was replaced then you have to use the s-off guide by ganeshp.

Nonono, follow this guide only: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26280760

Since you don't have an unlocked bootloader, you have to use ganeshp's guide for s-off.

Im having the same problem...cant unlock the bootloader on the Sensation XE. I followed the unlock bootloader guide on the HTCdev site but.....

I get an error message in the CMD promt "remote: unlock token check failed"

Cany anyone help?

R u using any HTC device ?
The error shows is s-off.
So for rooting your device u have to do it S-ON
So search for this guide and then you proceed with your rooting

i tying to use Use Wire-Trick to obtain S-OFF
