I have a message on start
" Your device has beed unlocked and cant be trust ..." blah blah blah
but hey i have a root :D

First connect your phone to the PC using the original USB cable.
When drivers are installed a popup screen would appear to view the "HiSuite" drive. This is a created drive-letter which contains a HiSuite Software downloader. Click to open or use the Windows Explorer to browse to this virtual drive.
Install the HiSuite software - this is important to get the correct drivers AND correct COM ports installed on your system. Skipping this step will result in non working DC Unlocker software.
When all is done go to the settings in your phone and open: System -> About Phone and tap the Build-number line about 7 to 8 times. Most likely the phone will ask for a PIN to active the developers mode. This is the code you've setup to use your phone. If you're already have a "developers option" you can skip this step.
Now click the "back" arrow once and select "Developer options".
Tap OEM-Unlock to activate it (confirm if needed), scroll down and tap USB Debugging to turn it on. <- I didnt do this ste (I forgot) and works for me on windows 10
Your phone should ask permission to connect your PC (with some MAC address). Confirm it so the connection is approved. If that doesn't show up disconnect the USB cable and check if the USB debug mode is still active in the "Developer options". Than reconnect the cable to your PC.

BTW, the american guy has been really persuasive hahahah

Dear #####,

Thank you for contacting Huawei, we widely appreciate your preference, we will be happy to assist you with this matter.

We do apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing, however, it is our duty to inform you that Huawei USA does not provide codes to unlock the bootloader, root the device or provides any tool/code to modify the phone internally. We kindly inform you that this action can potentially "brick" the phone or in other words, renders the phone completely unusable and voids the warranty service and device support. We have no control over how unlocking the bootloader or rooting the phone, will affect your device.

We understand that you might be able to request the bootloader unlock code, regrettably, your device does not qualify to receive this code, since the Huawei USA warranty policy limits us to do not provide this code in order to prevent future inconveniences to our consumers.

We are aware that you can find unofficial information over the internet, about how to root or unlock your phone and due to our Security and Privacy Policies, we cannot provide you these codes or tools, for that reason, we cannot assist you in that matter.

We highly recommend you refrain from taking these actions on your device.

If you require additional support or have any further questions, please contact us via:
– Live chat: Go to our consumer web page: https://consumer.huawei.com/us/select Support>Online Chat.
– Hotline service: 1-888-5HUAWEI(1-888-548-2934) / From Monday to Sunday 07:00AM – 09:00PM (CST) (English & Spanish Only).

We thank you for contacting Huawei Technical Support, we remain at your service.

Thanks a lot for this guide!
I can confirm that method #2 works neatly on an ANE-LX1 (dual SIM) and that the DC-unlocker tool does what it should. 4 credits cost €4 and let you read the bootloader code which you can then use to unlock or relock the device as many times as you want using fastboot commands.
Had no issues using Windows 10 either (build 17134)

ps. shame nobody has found a way to do the same as the dc-unlocker group being a little cheaper

Hi there.. am i Missing anything?

When i search a model, it always finds the application port but no diag and it can't find the model.
I did manufactor mode and the driver is aswell installed.

Pretty strange.. im using win10... running 8.0.0.150 (C432) - ANE-LX1

===================================================================

DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.1403

Detecting phone :

selection :
manufacturer - Huawei phones
model - Auto detect (recommended)

Found Applications port COM8

===================================================================

*edit*
With DebugMode on and the Manufactor Mode, im getting 2 Drivers

Android Composite ADB Interface
Huaswei HDB Interface

COM Ports:
Android Adapter (8)
DBAdpater Reserved Interface (9)
Huawei Mobile Connect - Fake ACM Interface (7)

Should be everything alrlight no?

*edit2*
Just tested it on a second computer.. same result.
I think this could be because of the latest huawei update perhaps?

I'll try to downgrade the phone with the DLOAD method, written in the other trhead this evening. Perhaps then the DC Locker will work again.
I'll tell you that tomorrow. Cheers!

So uhh, not sure if this works, but I downloaded a program called "Universal Master Code", typed in my IMEI and bam, unlock code... I don't wanna try it unless someone has a way to relock bootloader. I will attach photos.

P.S. Don't mind DC Unlocker cracked. Only downloaded because in paid one, kept getting error 375. Cracked didn't work either.

Hi there,
i updated to the newest firmware available through the system update and then went through with the guide as described in the first post.
What just occured to me though is that I did something slightly different for point 10:
10. Tap 1. Background Settings -> USB Port Settings and select Manufacture Mode and than tap Close
. --> I did NOT close the window, since my phone wouldn't be recognised by DC-unlocker if I did.

any luck?

So universal master code does not work, gives a code but code doesn't work. DC Unlocker doesn't work as it gives error 375 which indicates my Android version is unsupported??? I am running Android 8.

Well this worked for me with the old firmware (dload method) and all those steps.
Point 10 was necessairy otherwise dc unlocker doesnt recognize anything.
I think if you do point 10, then you finally get the virtal COM Ports where DC unlocker needs to read out the bootloader.

Cheers

So I cannot use DC Unlocker because my Android version is too updated but yet other Android 8 users can do it? I'm running an ANE-LX2J.
I am running android 8 as well (8.0.0.146(C432)). Started off with stock ROM, then updated OTA on the device itself (ANE-LX1, dual sim) and applied the dc unlocker.

Hace you tried using a different usb port (physical)
It only worked on one set of my pc

Edit:
I just tried to see if re-locking the bootloader works as well (using the bootloader code generated with dc unlocker). Using the adb commands it worked perfectly. In fastboot it now shows the bootloader as RElocked. DC-unlocker wants an extra €4 to change this into 'locked'. No need for that right now, but if anybody can confirm, that'd be great

Hi everybody,
I really want to understand that correctly.
I'm contemplating to buy a Huawei phone, but are they really serious ?
They don't provide any unlock services anymore ?! That means even after the initial warranty period it is impossible to unlock the device ?!

For now i wouldn't go with huawei if you want an active modding community to support you...
